Adjuvants

Investigators should consult the scientific literature for alternatives to Freund's complete adjuvant (FCA). If FCA is deemed necessary, then only one injection of FCA may be administered. Freund's incomplete adjuvant (FIA) should be used for subsequent immunizations. Footpad injections are not allowed. Please see the PSU IACUC Guideline VI for further information.
