Directors from the Office for Research Protections will present a 15-minute overview on the recent and upcoming changes to NIH-funded research, including NIH’s definition of clinical trials; required Good Clinical Practices (GCP) training; clinicaltrials.gov registration and reporting; and single IRB review requirements. This quick overview is intended to help research teams understand what new rules might apply to them and will point them to additional resources. Following the brief overview will be a 15-minute Q&A. Faculty, staff, postdocs, and graduate students are welcome and encouraged to attend. This overview will be presented in person and online.
