Participants are needed for a research study investigating vessel function in hypertension. This is a 16 week intervention study. Participants with high blood pressure are randomized into one of 3 different groups and prescribed blood pressure medication. Dosage of medication is monitored by a doctor on a monthly basis. Participants receive copies of comprehensive lab tests that look at overall general health. This study does require a 24 hour blood pressure monitor test which provides good information for you to see what your blood pressure readings are while you go about your daily routine. We provide a spreadsheet of results. A series of visits to Noll Lab over a 5 month period will be required.
