In January of 2017, the Department of Health and Human Services published revisions to regulatory requirements for human research, often referred to as the "Common Rule." These changes are set to go into effect on January 19, 2018. This session will provide a high-level overview of upcoming Common Rule changes, including some of the changes that will affect IRB forms and CATS IRB as related to the revised Common Rule. To learn more about the Common Rule, see our webpage Common Rule and Other Changes for updates. Faculty, staff, and students are all welcome to attend in-person or via Zoom.
