SIRO Support for MRI and PSIEE Investigators
SIRO staff provides pre-award and post-award support to PSIEE and MRI researchers whose primary campus address is in interdisciplinary research buildings (e.g. MRL Building, MRI Building, and Land and Water Building). SIRO pre-award staff can support proposal development, preparation and processing, coordination of internal approvals and submission. The staff maintains contact with technical representatives at agencies to ensure compliance and advises faculty in proposal writing and preparation through discussions of sponsor guidelines, university policies and procedures and best practices. The SIRO post-award staff provides those researchers with comprehensive post-award administration of research funding received.
Additionally, human resource functions are available to those researchers, including: appointments, reappointments and assistance with visa processing, and reapplications for visitors whose financial support is handled through SIRO.
