Welcome to the Office for Research Protections. Our mission is to facilitate the review process established to protect the rights and welfare of research participants, to provide guidance on research integrity issues, and to serve as a resource for the research community. Five University review committees have been formed to ensure that research is conducted in accordance with federal, state and local regulations and guidelines. These committees are comprised of faculty, staff, and community representatives who are appointed by the Senior Vice President for Research.
