IACUC Guideline XIII
Policy & Guidelines for Purchasing Live Laboratory Animals

To assure University-wide compliance with Federal and State laws and regulations, and for disease control, all live laboratory animals (excluding those used at the Hershey College of Medicine) must be purchased through the Animal Resource Program (ARP). Justifiable exceptions to this may be made only at the discretion of the Director of the Animal Resource Program with the approval of the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC).
