Radionuclide Safety Training

Penn State's Radiation Safety Policy and the University Isotopes Committee require all users of radioactive material, and supervisors of radioactive material laboratories, to complete Radionuclide Safety Training prior to beginning work with radioactive material. The goal is to provide you with the information you need to work safely with radioactive material. This training is provided by Environmental Health and Safety and instruction for completing the required training is online at http://www.ehs.psu.edu/radprot/rad_course.cfm.

Questions regarding the training requirements and/or arranging training should be directed to Dr. Jim Wiggins in Environmental Health and Safety (814-865-6391 or jpw4@psu.edu).
