Training Modules

Training modules required for individuals working with hazardous agents.

Individuals who handle human blood and blood products, human body fluid and/or human tissue, in addition to principal investigators and advisors listed on protocols that use these materials, are required by the IBC to complete Bloodborne Pathogen Training. This training is required to ensure that these individuals are aware of the potential hazards involved in handling these materials and use the proper precautions to protect themselves from bloodborne diseases.

Penn State's Department of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) offers a number of training classes for faculty, staff and students. Most training is specific to the work you perform in your job at the University.  Please Contact EHS if you are interested in learning more about EHS training courses.
