Education and Required Training

IRB Policy mandates that investigators receive training before approval can be granted for the use of human participants in research. For additional information, please see IRB Policy II - Verification of the Training on the Protection of Human Participants. In addition to the required online training, the Office for Research Protections offers IRB101 workshops, which cover topics relevant to human participant research, and a variety of workshops and seminars related to the responsible conduct of research.
