ORP Winter Break Hours and Other Important Information

Due to the Penn State University Winter Break closure, the ORP will be closed December 23, 2004 through January 2, 2005. During this time, the ORP staff will not have access to their email or voice mail. The office will reopen at 8:00 am on January 3, 2005. Please note that human participant applications received the week before the Winter Break may require a review period longer than 3 weeks as reviewers will not be available during the break.

The IRB submission deadline for the December meeting is 5:00 pm on November 23, 2004. The submission deadline for the January 2005 meeting is Noon on January 6, 2005.

The IACUC submission deadline for the last IACUC conference call of 2004 is 5:00 pm on Wednesday, December 8, 2004. Items received by this deadline will be reviewed on the December 13, 2004 IACUC conference call.

The first IACUC conference call for 2005 is scheduled for Monday, January 17th. The submission deadline for the January 17th conference call is 5:00 pm on Wednesday, January 5, 2005.

Revised IACUC and IBC applications will be available on the ORP website in December of 2004. Please remember to check for the most recent version before sending your completed application. Revised IRB applications will be available in January or February 2005.
