Community Outreach Services

Welcome to the Office for Research Protections (ORP). There are several community outreach services that we provide to help keep the public informed on up to date information in the field of research and ways to get involved in Penn State research studies. If you would like to learn more information about how to become a research participant, please see our publication "Participating in Research at Penn State" (also available in PDF).

This information is also available in print format and can be found at various State College locations and the surrounding area. If you are interested in being a research participant and would like to see a list of recruiting research studies, please see our PSU Research Clinics page.

ORP has a staff of coordinators and an educator available to give presentations to any interested organizations and/or groups. If you would like ORP to give a presentation to your organization or would like to inquire about further information on the topics that are being offered, please contact the ORP Webmaster at 814-865-1775.
