System and VPN Requirements
Before accessing PRAMS, please review the system and VPN requirements for settings that are required for PRAMS to function properly.
System Requirements for Accessing PRAMS
PRAMS is tested and runs on various internet browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari). It is recommended that users are working with the latest versions of the browsers. Please review your browser settings to comply with the following requirements for using PRAMS:
- Cookies must be enabled
- Pop-ups must be enabled
VPN Requirements for Accessing PRAMS
Within the PSU Network
Users connecting to PRAMS from a Penn State networked computer (e.g., office, computer lab, etc.) do not need to connect to Penn State’s Virtual Private Network (VPN).
Outside of the PSU Network
Users connecting to PRAMS from a computer outside of the Penn State Network (e.g., home, airport, hotel, etc.) need to connect to the Penn State’s VPN before attempting to login to PRAMS. For information on the VPN, please read the ITS article “Information on connecting to Penn State using a Virtual Private Network (VPN)”. Once successfully connected to the VPN, go to www.prams.psu.edu and login.
