Activities, tips and tools to assure that research at Penn State complies with federal regulations, state laws, University policies and approved study protocols.
Overall, the Quality Management Program works to assure that compliance with federal regulations, state laws, university policies and approved study protocols is maintained as they apply to research protections. Quality improvement tools are used to assess and increase effectiveness and efficiency of the various programs and processes involved.
Quality Management initiatives span across the programs that are overseen by the Office for Research Protections (ORP) at all Penn State campuses and colleges except for the College of Medicine (COM) at The Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.
