Lori Cole, Senior Processor Lori is responsible for providing support in the processing of proposals, awards, subcontracts and related documents. She also serves as the Contractual Mail Coordinator for the office and is responsible for logging awards and disseminating correspondence to the appropriate teams and provides support to the Director of the Office of Research Information Systems.
Cecelia Doty, Compliance Coordinator Cecelia is responsible to the Senior Associate Director for coordinating and maintaining non-financial compliance systems for Penn State sponsored research portfolio. Current duties include oversight of delinquent reporting systems, consulting agreement justifications, conflict of interest submissions, coordination of export control compliance systems, support of a number of Electronic Research Administration systems and other duties as assigned.
Kathy Garman, Processor Kathy is the office receptionist and is responsible for the handling of the office mail. As the Scanning Coordinator she is responsible for the scanning of contractual documents. She also serves as the Proposal Coordinator for tracking and disbursing proposal information to the appropriate colleges.
Cheryl George, Export Compliance Officer/Negotiator Units Assigned: College of Engineering
Cheryl works with Penn State faculty and OSP negotiators to coordinate review of sponsored projects for export control compliance. Cheryl also reviews and processes proposals to state and federal agencies, industries, and non-profits; and negotiates and processes gifts, grants, contracts, subawards, and modifications thereto.
John Hanold, Senior Associate Director John has overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the Office of Sponsored Programs. He provides training, assists in review/negotiation of agreements and proposals, and handles all personnel actions.

JoAnn helps coordinate preparation and submission of proposals for OSP. She is also responsible for the coordination of research opportunity dissemination, Grants.gov, NIH Commons, and FastLane coordination assistance. She is the OSP Webmaster.
Wendy Peck, Office Manager Wendy's primary duties are to support the Associate Vice President for Research. Additional duties include assisting all teams in all phases of the office functions as well as to supervise and direct the OSP staff assistants.
Patty Prestash, Grant Coordinator Patty is responsible for processing agreements such as tuition and memorandums of agreement. Patty reviews and processes proposals to state and federal agencies, industries, and non-profits.
