As a Principal Contracting Officer, Melissa reviews RFPs, processes gifts and grants, and negotiates contract, subawards, master agreements and modifications thereto. Melissa joined the University in 1990 as a staff assistant in Alumni and Development Relations and then transitioned to the Smeal College of Business in the Division of Research. Melissa joined OSP as a Negotiator in 2010 and is now a Principal Contracting Officer. Melissa is a member of the Export Compliance Team and Chair of the Research Administration Policies and Guidelines Committee.
