Native English Speaking Monolinguals needed for brief Language Study

Research Participant Criteria

To be eligible for this study, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Gender: Male or Female
  • Age: 18 - 30 Years
  • Must be a native English speaker
  • Must be monolingual (speak only one language)
Exclusion Criteria

You are not eligible if any of the following applies to you:

  • Must have no knowledge of Spanish
  • Preferably no college level language courses taken (other than English)
  • Must not be proficient in any language other than English
  • Minimal exposure to languages other than English preferred

Research Study Details

This study is very short and simple. It takes about 5-10 minutes and involves naming pictures on a computer screen.

This is a simple Picture Naming Study.  Participants will view pictures on a computer screen and name them into a microphone.  The task should take no longer than 10 minutes and participants will be compensated $5.00.

Location: Thomas building, room 4A (it's in the basement)
Approximate Participant Study Length: 10 Minutes

This study requires only one session.  The session will last between 5-15 minutes.

Compensation: $5.00
