Study Dates, Times and Location

Study Available by Appointment?: Yes
Location: Penn State
Approximate Participant Study Length: 3 Weeks

This study is separated into three parts. In the first part, we ask that you come into our lab for a screening visit. During this time we will tell you more about the study and ask that you fill out several questionnaires. The screening visit lasts approximately 1.5 hours. If you qualify after the screening visit we will move onto part 2. The second part will entail coming back into the lab and answering some questions then performing a task while in an MRI scanner followed by additional questionnaires. The second visit lasts 4 hours. The third part of the study involves answering daily questionnaires on a smartphone we provide. First, you will attend a 1 hour training session to learn about the questionnaires followed by a ten day period of data collection using the smartphone. During the ten days, you will be coming into the lab on eight consecutive days for up to 30 min to answer a few questionnaires. For these eight days, we ask that you not smoke any cigarettes. Some parts of the study are paid in cash on the day of the visit; however, most of the study is paid via check upon study completion. This check takes approximately 2-3 weeks to process.

Compensation: up to $250
