Research Study Details
Analysis of the skin blood flow response to local thermal provocation as a means to assess microvascular function.
Purpose of the study: 1. To characterize the skin blood flow response to changes in skin temperature. 2. To develop a method that predicts the function of the skin's blood vessels in healthy, aged and hypertensive populations.
3 visits to Noll Lab will be required.

3 visits to the Noll lab will be required.
Visit 1: Screening visit requires approximately 1 hour
Visit 2: Return 24 hour blood pressure monitor requires approximately 1/4 hour
Visit 3: Heating/Cooling Protocol requires approximately 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hours
