Robin Riglin

As Assistant Vice President for Research and OSP Lead Negotiator, Robin is responsible for monitoring active contract negotiations, and collaborating with negotiators, faculty, and other administrators to identify creative solutions to difficult negotiations. Robin collaborates with the Office of the Senior Vice President for Research and other University offices to identify opportunities for streamlining and policy improvement.  Robin directly supervises OSP’s Associate Directors, as well as the Industry team of negotiators.  Prior to coming to Penn State, Robin worked as a Contract Administrator and Subcontract Advisor at a major defense contractor, after having practiced law for several years.

Within the broader research administration community, Robin has served on NCURA’s Traveling Workshop Faculty and frequently presents at national and regional research administration conferences. She was the recipient of an NCURA Global Fellowship to Peking University in Beijing, China, and traveled with a cohort of U.S. research administration leaders to Russia on behalf of the Eurasia Foundation.

Robin received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh and a J.D. from William and Mary Law School.
