All PSU Faculty and Staff may accept the Login.gov terms and associated U.S. Government Systems terms electronically on behalf of the University, contingent on the employee using their Penn State email address for the account creation.

All Penn State University Faculty and Staff

 

All PSU Faculty and Staff may accept the NASA NSPIRES terms contingent upon:

  1. the employee using their Penn State email address for the account creation;
  2. not involving any high or restricted level data (per policy AD95) without consulting with the Office of Information Security first; and
  3. reading and following the below NSPIRES CUI NOTICE.

IMPORTANT NSPIRES CUI NOTICE:  There may be information hosted in the NASA NSPIRES system that is classified by NASA as Controlled Unclassified Information (“CUI”). CUI is sensitive information which must be handled in compliance with the CUI Final Rule as well as the restrictions set forth in NASA procedural requirement NPR 2810.7. Before accessing or downloading any information that is classified as CUI, you must stop your work and first contact the Office of Information Security (security@psu.edu), the Office of Sponsored Programs (osp@psu.edu), and the Office of Export Compliance (oec@psu.edu) to ensure appropriate CUI security safeguards are put in place.

If the contingencies above cannot be met, the University-Wide Delegation cannot be utilized.  A request for One-Time Delegation must be submitted.  See this page for instructions.

Subject to Policy RA20, University employees authorized under RA20 to submit research proposals may accept associated proposal submission system terms contingent upon:

  1. the proposal submission does not involve high or restricted data per policy AD95;
     
  2. the system does not require University banking information to be included; and
     
  3. the terms of the award itself are not being accepted as part of the proposal submission.

 

If the contingencies above cannot be met, the University-Wide Delegation cannot be utilized.  A request for One-Time Delegation must be submitted.  See this page for instructions.
