IACUC Triennial Reviews

Attention researchers with active IACUC protocols. The first triennial reviews to be submitted in CATS IACUC are coming due. Triennial review is a complete (de novo) IACUC review of the previously approved protocol that is federally required every three years to receive continued approval of ongoing activities on the protocol. This is opposed to annual review, which is a single page form that asks for a summary, description of any adverse or unanticipated events, and animal usage for the past year.

The protocol PI, PI Proxy(ies), and Primary Contact receive an email notification when a triennial review is coming due. This is a new process in CATS IACUC and we encourage you to review this resource on submitting a triennial review.
