Job Responsibilities

Connie provides management of training grants in the HUCK Institute by performing a variety of processes including trainee appointments, agency reporting, budget monitoring, and collaboration with the college and institute faculty and staff to facilitate training grant support.

Professional Background

Connie joined SIRO in July 2021. Prior to working in SIRO, Connie worked as a research staff assistant at Penn State University, in the Eberly College of Science, Chemistry Department for 24 years. Connie worked with faculty/students processing various staff duties which included budget monitoring/projecting, proposal preparation, travel arrangements/reimbursements and other related staff duties. Outside the office, Connie enjoys crafting, watching her daughter play soccer and taking care of her 3 dogs and 3 cats.
