Job Responsibilities
Melody joined SIRO in June 2021 as an Assistant Project Manager. Melody assists the SIRO Senior Project Manager in sponsored research project management with a DoD/International focus encompassing capture-to-continuation project lifecycle support.
Professional Background
Prior to joining SIRO, Melody worked in research administration within Penn State’s Department of Aerospace Engineering. As a 2005 graduate of The Baker Institute for Peace and Conflict Studies at Juniata College, her professional experience outside of the University includes working with Habitat for Humanity International, where she was a key member in the development and administration of the organization’s first federally funded housing rehabilitation program, the Neighborhood Stabilization Program II. Additionally, she has experience working with federal and state funds via the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Melody resides in Mifflin County with her daughter Lily, and outside of work, she enjoys reading, gardening, camping and kayaking.
