When is it happening?
CATS IRB will be unavailable Thursday, June 22, 2023 2:00 PM ET until Monday, June 26, 2023 12:00 PM ET
What is happening?
CATS IRB (irb.psu.edu) will be unavailable for a planned release that will affect users at all Penn State locations. The planned outage is for a platform upgrade.
Changes include:
- Improved user interface and navigation
- Updated reference materials and help guidance
- Streamlined submission process for studies relying on a single External IRB
Why is it happening?
The CATS IRB system is upgrading to ensure compliance with the latest regulatory requirements for Single IRB and other IRB functions. The upgrade will implement system enhancements to improve the user interface and experience.
