John Russell, Interim Head of Research Informatics and Publishing, and Dr. Briana Wham, Research Data Librarian, will explain how postdocs can be equipped with tool-based skills to increase market competitiveness. This program includes an introduction to no-cost advanced research services through University Libraries related to digital humanities, GIS, visualization, data publishing, mapping, statistical modeling, and more. Areas of emphasis will include data management and reproducible research techniques. Attendees will benefit from cross-disciplinary discussion and conversation with John and Briana tailored to early-career researchers. Everyone's perspective will be helpful!
