In 2020, we are offering a series of research grants to stimulate innovative research in challenging areas of future importance. Grants of 100,000 EUR - 500,000 EUR per year for up to 3 years are availabe in the areas of: Drug discovery, Bioreactor design for cultured meat, Next generation machine learning, Pandemic preparedness / fighting new emerging viral infectious disease.

The Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium (MTEC) is excited to post this pre-announcement for a Request for Project Proposals (RPP) that aims to help develop a research prototype for the ability to telemonitor and capture research data for the following research areas: COVID-19 wards, emergency rooms/trauma rooms (ERs/TRs), and neurological patients.

The United States–India Science & Technology Endowment Fund (USISTEF) seeks to support and foster joint applied R&D to generate public good through the commercialization of technology developed through sustained partnerships between U.S. and Indian researchers and entrepreneurs. The current global crisis underscores the importance and relevance of USISTEF activities.

 Eyebeam is acting immediately to invigorate artistic creation of digital futures at this moment of systemic collapse. As economies and everyday routines are disrupted around the world, Eyebeam is taking action to support artists who are imagining a more humane digital realm. The National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB) is urgently soliciting proposals and can provide up to $500M across multiple projects to rapidly produce innovative SARS-CoV-2 diagnostic tests that will assist the public’s safe return to normal activities...NIBIB  is providing substantial support to accelerate the development, validation, and commercialization of innovative point-of-care and home-based tests, as well as improvements to  clinical laboratory tests, that can directly detect SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. NIBIB will support the full range of product development including commercialization and product distribution.

nvites Data and Clinical Coordinating Centers that have appropriate expertise in clinical trial design and implementation, as well as existing relationships with a network/consortium of Clinical Centers, to propose inpatient or outpatient trials of host-targeting interventions in patients infected with SARS-CoV-2, designed appropriately for the population and intervention being studied.

The Booz Allen Foundation has established a $1 million Innovation Fund to help nonprofits, entrepreneurs, thought leaders, innovators at colleges and universities, and startups and small businesses harness the power of data, technology, and diverse intellectual capital to improve COVID-19 relief efforts and make a difference. We want to surface the most innovative solutions and empower the individuals and organizations behind those solutions to drive their development and implementation.

Now accepting applications for CoronaVirus-related projects. The AARP Community Challenge provides small grants to fund "quick-action" projects that can help communities become more livable for people of all ages. Applications are being accepted for projects to improve housing, transportation, public space, technology ("smart cities"), civic engagement and more.

The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to provide an expedited funding mechanism for research on Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) and Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). NIAID is issuing this FOA in response to the declared public health emergency issued by the Secretary, HHS, for 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).

  Suppliers may choose to focus on workplace mental health in a particular context, such as during a pandemic.
