We are looking for participants for a research study that aims to measure psychological well-being during your everyday life while doing some small exercises.
The research procedures involve filling out a web-based survey multiple times during a 56-day period, and completing some small exercises in 15 of those 56 days. The survey will be made accessible via smartphones or similar devices. You will be asked questions about your experiences: how you feel at that moment, and how you have felt in the recent past. Six times every day via a text message, you will be reminded to complete a short survey that will take no more than 2 minutes of your time. Moreover, there will be an introductory session (max. 1h) and three intermediate sessions (30 mins each) approximately every two-weeks for which you will be invited to the lab and will be asked to fill out surveys with questions regarding your personality. There will also be a feedback session at the end of the study to discuss experiences (max. 30 mins). These sessions will take place on the University Park campus, Henderson Building.
You will receive a compensation of up to $320 for your participation in this study, depending on your response rate. If you withdraw from the study before the end, you will receive compensation proportional to the surveys that you completed.
Participant Inclusion Criteria
You are eligible to participate in this study if you are between 18 and 22 years of age.
