Job Responsibilities
Shannon is the Assistant Director for the Project Management Office with a strategic focus in NIH/non-DOD areas. She will assist with partnership development, capacity building, and lifecycle project management.
Professional Background
Shannon brings 18+ years of Penn State research administration experience from units in the Colleges of Earth and Mineral Sciences, Engineering, and the Applied Research Laboratory. Prior to joining SIRO, Shannon was the Research Project Manager/Grant and Contract Manager for the College of Liberal Arts’ Child Study Center where she managed a very active research portfolio. Shannon also has training in Organizational Leadership which will enhance the development of the SIRO Project Management Office.
