UP-Hershey Shuttle
Penn State offers daily shuttle services for students, faculty, and staff between the College of Medicine at Hershey, PA, to University Park in State College, PA.
This Shuttle is not to be used for personal transportation, medical appointments, or transportation of research animals.
No animal transports are allowed through this UP – Hershey Shuttle. To transport animals between campuses, a researcher must fill out the appropriate form on this page (also found on the ARP website) and submit it to the Animal Resource Program who will then facilitate the transport.
Your role as the PI: Fill out the form and email it to ARP at arp@psu.edu.
ARP will then complete the process by exchanging health reports and approvals between the campuses. If you wish to transport the animal yourself as the lab member or PI, you must still go through this process and get approval to do so from both the ARP Veterinary and Hershey Veterinary and follow specific shipping guidelines that they provide.
Any additional questions may be answered by going through the Animal Resource Program Guidelines, or directed to arp@psu.edu.
