Discard a Modification
Discard a modification when it has been decided that the modification will not be pursued, or if instructed to do so by the IRB. Warning: Discarding a modification cannot be undone!
How to Discard a Modification
To discard a modification, navigate to the IRB page by selecting the “IRB tab” at the top left corner of the screen. Next, select the “In-Review tab” to display submissions, including modifications.
Select the modification that will be discarded.
After locating the appropriate modification, select “Discard” in the next steps menu.
A warning message will appear. To remove the submission permanently proceed to discard.
Once discarded the submission will move to the “Archived” tab.
