Job Responsibilities:

• Serves as the Human Protections Administrator for the Human Research Protections Program (HRPP)
• Leads and manages day-to-day activities of the IRB Program
• Serves as a committee member on both IRBs and as a designated reviewer of non-committee new study applications, modifications, and continuing reviews for the use of human participants in research, reportable new information, and non-human research determinations
• Presents seminars and workshops on the protection of human participants in research to faculty, staff, students, and the community
• Responsible for the development of policies, guidelines, and applications for the protection of human participants
