ACES - ACOR Certification and Education Series
The ACES program is designed to give Research Administrators at every level the necessary skills and expertise to support faculty in research. The training will provide essential tools for every step of the research support process - from proposal development to project management to compliance.
Enrollment for the 2017-18 ACES Course is closed. The ORP will be contacting those of you who did enroll and those on the waiting list, the week of July 17 to let you know if you have been accepted in the course. Thank you for your interest in the ACES course.
About the Program
ACOR Certification & Education Series is an education and certification program developed by the Administrative Committee on Research and co-sponsored by the Office for Research Protections.
We will be accepting applications from June 1, 2017 until July 14, 2017. Registration is limited, so please complete the application on or before that date. Please note the following:
- Participants commit to sixteen classes and two roundtable events.
- Final graduation certification is earned at the end of the second semester.
- Assessments are required at the end of each semester, designed to demonstrate practical application of the concepts
- Attendance at all classes is required.
All classes for Session 14 are held on Friday mornings, from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. in 205LL The 330 Building, Innovation Park.
The course cost for 2017-18 is $1000. ACES is only open to Penn State employees.
